I need a small Carpet Cleaning Machine. It must be compact and a light-weight that even I can lift it.
My oxygen tube works just fine to keep me walking around, but start lifting weight….that’s a no-no.
Hubby cleans my sewing room once a month (hey, I take what I can get) and that is no easy task.
Because I have COPD and get too winded from sniffing fabric-dust that floats in the air and dog fur every time our Spaniel waddles by, cleaning is a constant chore.

Recently I was searching for a sewing pattern that I had used for years. It was a Peasant Top Pattern that I loved.
You know, those loose fitting tops with elastic around the neck and sleeve hem. So comfortable you could sleep in them.
I probably made 20 tops from that old pattern over the last 30 years.
It was an older design and I liked the way it was made. Very simple. Four pieces. I could whip a blouse together in an half hour.
I had it for years and eventually transferred it to pellon because the paper- pattern was tattered and falling apart. I think that was my downfall… [Read more…]
