New Rules for Ebay
It feels like a warning every time I receive an email with “new rules for Ebay” in the first few sentences. It’s almost never a good thing for Ebay Sellers. In fact, it’s becoming a common note in Mail from Ebay. Every time I turn around there is a new rule or Guideline that must be adhered to… or else!
If Ebay is your only means of income, that connotation can be dire. Occasionally it’s something easily done, but more often than not, it’s something ridiculously complicated, which entails hours and hours of work when I’m already bogged down with holiday listings and shopping for my own family.
Too often, to follow “new rules” I must make something in my latest listing smaller, bigger, higher, lower, weigh less, weigh more, or one of a kind– I can’t list a second one of any item, accidentally or not, that has another one already up there hiding from the “search.” Sheez Ebay… Come on–
Give a gal a chance! It’s difficult enough to buy products>>Tweet Products>>Facebook Products>>Pinterest Products>> then price, wrap, box, ship, then write, list and ship more. I really don’t need anything else to do before my item actually SELLS.
If you’re new to Ebay, be sure and read the latest guidelines. There may be changes that your best friend or another seller is not aware of.
If you’re a regular seller, as I am, be sure to read your latest email from Ebay regarding Rules effective as of August 20, 2014.
These will be a bugger, seems to me.
